About

I’m a documentary filmmaker and visual journalist based in New York City. I’m currently collaborating with This Machine Filmworks on an upcoming feature documentary. I’ve also worked with Muck Media where I’ve produced and directed several documentary series for your favorite streaming networks.

I was a producer at ABC News Nightline where I frequently covered immigration, but my interests and skills are varied. In the past, I've produced and directed feature-length documentary projects for theatrical release, TV broadcast, and streaming.

I've worked at a number of news outlets including Univision, Fusion Media Group, The Miami Herald, The New York Times, The Guardian, and The Economist.

I was a 2023 fellow at the Nieman Foundation at Harvard University. And I have a Masters in Science from the Journalism School at Columbia University, where I also occasionally teach. I’m an adjunct professor at New York University Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute. And I love my dog Cashew.
